Lavinia Valeriana (Welsh-Breton and Italian-Catalan-Argentine) is a self-made attention-shy Stratford-on-Avon born Leamington Spa raised highly-experimental (dark-romantic) avant-garde musician, confessional diarist, and artisan, owning a self-willed technique and casual approach. Valeriana, a single-sided deaf autodidact, and bohemian, also grew up across Latin-Celt heritage lands, nonchalantly she evades the mainstream, creatively absorbing life and is comfortable in her reluctance to adhere to modern convention.
Lavinia did debut at the age of thirteen and made use of a pseudonym for two decades. Upon the release of the book Adrift in Acheron (2018), she chose to publish under her name. She has made some of the past music free on the above exclusive youth work compilation Farewell to the Court (2003-2014). The Raveness' releases, as limited editions, have since entirely sold-out, this includes the gallows humour spoken word Of Blood and Absinthe (2001 - 2011) youth work compilation.
